Would you buy your Nikon from a shop in Orchard Road?

A shop in Orchard Plaza quoted one of my friends $950+ gst + 8 gb card for D90 (with lens). Courts - $1,988 and other some other shops are charging around $1,600.The price difference is so much. Could something be wrong? Oh yes, are Nikon cameras made in Thailand?

It's too good to be true. Most of the time they will cheat you one way or another. Trust me, you're better off to other shops.

Nikon DSLRs except the D700, D3, D3s and D3x are all made in Thailand.

the only reliable shop in orchard for nikon is Lords @ lucky plaza, look for james. The rest is all out to cheat...
