WJ . Macau and Hong Kong, Eat Shoot Shop

More updates on the food I ate when I'm in Hong Kong ;)

My first dinner after settling down in Hong Kong Hotel was steamboat!

Shop Name: 稻香超級漁港
Address: Shop B, 3rd Floor, Grand Tower, 639 Nathan Road, Mong Kok, Kowloon, Hong Kong
Opening Hours: Open till 2am

This place is around 10 to 15 min walked over to this place from Stanford Hotel in Mongkok. A good deal about this restaurant is that they have 50% off total bill when you visit after 9pm  but I only got to know about that after I started eating at 7+pm lolx..

Address: 九龙旺角豉油街50号5号地铺

The food was alright and it's my first try of Gong Zai Mian (公仔面) in Hong Kong, the noodle was quite Q and the Char Siew was tasty! The service was average, not very polite as usual :bsmilie:

Bought this gao luc from a random roadside stall and to my surprise, it's a lot better than any of the roadside stalls I tried in SG..they toasted it well enough which makes the peeling a lot easier!

34) 栗子 (also call gao luc in SG)

Shop Name: 谭仔云南米线(三哥)
Address: 九龙旺角豉油街104B
Opening Hour: 10.00 am to 12 midnight

In the effort to explore more eatery around the hotel I'm staying, my friends and I chose this noodle stall just 5 min walk from our hotel :) The noodle which I ordered tasted quite alright, but one of my friend ordered a spicy soup base noodle which almost cause him to lose his voice after taking a few sip of the soup...but overall I quite like the food there myself with all the small dishes.

The famous Ladies' Market of course, just walking distance from my Hotel too! Although its name is Ladies' Market, I still manage to find a few stalls selling clothes and accessories for guys, bought most of my t-shirts there ;)

花園街 (Fa Yuen Street), also known as Sneaker Street, was just located one street away from Ladies' Market. Famous for selling all the sports apparels and sports gears.

Ding Ding Tram, riding the Ding Ding Tram in Hong Kong can be fun! You will be able to get around the city area and enjoy the view along the way, it's a unique experience. It was fun to me also because my friends and I just hop on to the tram without planning on the next location and was prepared to get lost :bsmilie:
