Today, our CNY visitation itinerary was cut short, cos our poor daughter is sick. Last night, towards the end of our reunion dinner, she started having a runny nose. Today, towards the afternoon, she started running a low grade fever.

Now she is home, sleeping, while a storm gathers just outside the window ... What a start to the Lunar New Year

hope your daughter get well soon! btw if you all eat at home often can consider making soups/dishes with old ginger shreds (with skin) , very good side ingredient, old ginger with skin is quite effective against flu due to weather changes
