Wireless TTL trigger

Eh, the Canon and Nikon versions i don't think the TTL will work right? It's different companies..and besides the Sony flash will not fit the Canon or Nikon mount properly also...the pins don't align.
The only way i managed to get it to fire off was to cut away the front part of the trigger so the flash can be inserted more than normal just so the firing pin can be aligned..
i also don't think a Canon trigger will work because i actually cut a Phottix Canon trigger and aligned the pins but it won't fire either..so basically i destroyed a good set of Phottix trigger :)
I bought a cheap Chromage universal trigger and that one worked.

Haha... I am using my Canon 430ex ii on my A7. Works perfectly fine, manual mode only.

yea..if only I had researched before selling away all my 600ex....now regret...

Hi there it seems that Phottix now has the Mitros flash for sony and Odin trigger for sony (but both using the minolta shoe). Anyone knows where to buy these or are using these gear? I searched the local distributors but it seems they don't have one or both of the gear.

Yea, you need to find old stocks because they don't make new ones anymore now that the hotshoe is no longer in use so Phottix stopped production...you need to find old stocks..

Contrary to popular belief, my pixel king actually works with ttl on sony. Currently using Sony a99 and sony a6000. Have to make sure that the kings are updated to the latest firmware. Also I'm using adapters on my a99 and hvl-60 flashes. When using the Kings, the flash mode on the camera and the flashes should be ttl fill flash and others and not wireless. If camera is on wireless flash mode, the camera would have error msg saying accessory is not supported.

Good luck and hope everything works for you guys.

Wireless TTL works on the A7. Need adapters, but they work.

A better way is if you meet up with the person who owns the trigger instead of asking them to test it for you. Test it yourself and you'll know if the solution works best for you
