Wireless Flash Trigger

PT-04 operates on the 433MHz frequency band and RF602 operates on the 2.4GHz band.
Some say 2.4GHz will interfere with areas with strong wifi (wifi operates around 2.4GHz too) and **** up the triggering. That one im not too sure. Maybe users of rf602 can comment...

I have no issues with triggering it locations where theres a homewifi network environment.

Just got my frds flash model. It's Nissin Di 866 w/ Canon 7D.

No more PT04-III stocks for Sony... Stocks coming in next week... Next time I have to learn to call before I go... Everytime I go sure got something I want that is out of stocks...

U should try sgcamerastore , they have the stock fir Sony but again call and check first

Ok thanks!

I used the Pixel TF363, 16 channel for my 58AM, no need to use the adaptor like of RF602 and, its a wonderfull product that is made for Sony, it sync up to 1/300. google it to find out more.

the spec mentioned it will sync at 1/320sex but based on my previous experience with a900.. it can sync only up to 1/200 sec

i thought the sync speed is determined by your cam? 1/200 is when your anti-shake is turned on. u will get 1/250 when your anti-shake is turned off.

both.

your camera has a sync limit.

But the trigger also has a sync limit.

A700,850,900 max sync is 1/200 with stabilisation and 1/250 w/o if I'm not wrong. The other Sony cameras are 1/160 and then 1/200 respectively if I'm not mistaken.

Anyway, for your information, my sony PT04-III transmitter can trigger the normal PT04-III receiver that i bought yesterday.

Yes and no,
not all wireless trigger can trigger off at 1/250 sec despite the manufacturer claims with anti-shake on or off.
apsc should have no problem syncing to the max, it the ff bodies that had such limitation.

Cool! Looks like I've given myself some excuse to BBB!

perhaps you shud try with others to see how far the triggering range is. It can be quite short outdoors in the day with the bright strong sun..

Hmm.. Ok, if it's for indoor shoot, it's fine right? Like 5-10 meters at most..

But if I plan to trigger YN 460 optically outdoors, it's better that I get an wireless transmitter like PT04 for Sony mount.
