Wireless Flash Trigger

I am also thinking of getting a wireless trigger.

Since Odin is cheaper, is there any disadvantage of using the Odin vs pocketwizard?

I've read of people ditching PW in favour of Odin, rather keen as well. Only deciding if I really need TTL or plain wireless radio triggers will suffice..

With the new firmware updates, Pocketwizards have this this thing called hypersync, which is different from high speed sync... Very very interesting.

Read about it here: PocketWizard® - HyperSync

Most people ditching PW are Canon users, simply because it seems some Canon flashes like the 580EXII are emitting too much interference to the radio signals of FlexTT5 units, causing some unreliability and loss of range. Nikon users have no such problems.

The issues seem to affect the US version.

yup, only the US FCC versions which uses 344 MHz are affected. The Europe/Asia CE version uses 433 MHz are not as affected.
