Currently using Linksys ADSL modem AM300 with WRT54G v7 router.
Problems faced.
1)Long downtime when connection is lost. Takes about 3mins or more to get the connection back.
2)Reduced range. The previous combo (aztech turbo900 + wrt54g) was able to give a stronger signal than the current one.
Can anyone give some ideas to solve this problem? I was thinking about flashing the firmware but v7 does not allow hacking from what I read.
Setup: Win Laptop X 01, Pwrbook x 01, PC is wired.
