Winter in Melbourne

hey dear friends of Melbourne,

ill be going on the 1st of Aug to Mel for just 3 days. yes i know its too short... but time and AL are sucky so no choice. would love to meet any of you there when i reach.

ill b stay in Hotel Sophia.

3 days

Day 1 and 3 are nothing planned.

day 2 will be spent for the Great Ocean Rd tour.

would really appreciate it if any of you could show me around and all that.

3days ? so short? u mean u be there 3 days excluding the flight time?

i jus got back. v cold now. spent 2wks+
and getting colder by the days.

yes GOR i drove there by GPS and all is good. i stayed at port campbell for a nite. lodging abt AUD90+ for a home stay w kitchen
if u follow tour grp go. it will be a hush hush rush rush thingy.
not much time for u to shoot pics till u drop.
and its a long drive.
- set off early morning 4-5 hrs drive then reach. then 4.30 pm sunset liao
due to the short day timing now.

and its winter sale now! can shop till u drop.. think ur time not enuff.
else can go south wharf, 20 mins walk from sliver star station, then shopping till u drop at the DFO.
u wont get snow unless u hit the mountains.

buy the day metlink tics, and can use for train, trams, all transport whole day inclusive.
bring a winter jacket, day abt 15degC, nite abt 5degC
