Haha, how many days will you be doing? Try Sapa if time permits..
Sapa is quite commercial and touristic if you dont have time to dig deep into the far villages.
The best way to explore sapa is to rent motorbikes with one tour guide, and take a day trip. He will be bring you to the further places which are not very accessible and popular to tourists. If you have few days to climb Fanxipan, the highest peak of Indochina, it would be nice too.
Another option is to visit some other places in north of vietnam which are not touristic yet: Moc Chau, Son La, Lai Chau, etc.

Srono, bro...I will definitely consult you if I am going to shoot in Vietnam...especially from a Vietnamese's point of view on some remote and not well known locations.

Im always alone during my childhood as the only child...to tell the truth, I yearn for a sibling...a brother perhaps that I could talk to...but given my temper...I will probably wack him...
Noone can turnback in time and start a new beginning..but anyone can go back today and start a new ending...

I used to play this when I was very young.
My parents would bring me every weekend to the amusement park and they would sit down together to have a drink while watching me play.
It does bring back good memories though in our context...things have evolved so much that life loses the simplicity...

I do understand not many are exactly that friendly in vietnam but I pushed myself for it.
She wanted to wack me with the flowers and I ran away...I am not a long distance runner in school...but definitely do just fine in sprinting...

Nice photos... I can never seem to get that close to my subjects..
Different people work different ways...I on the other hand dun really like to get the attention of my subjects unless it is intended...
That way, I might catch some unexpected expressions which would be timeless...but more than often, I get the cold shoulders from the Vietnamese...
Im shooting wide so yea...I did go pretty close..

Its 2 meters visibility, 10-13degs at the moment.
Will be leaving tomorrow night, been here since the start of the week.
Just finished a trek to 3 villagers today, very muddy & slippery
