Windows 8 - who needs silly big tiles on the screen?

Read in today's DL that this Win8 is merely the Win7 with a shell/mask that enables you to do those touch screen stuff.

Maybe, MS has added some other bells and whistles here and there. Finally, not sure if it is really worth the effort to upgrade to it from XP. Afterall, my Thinkpad T400 has got quite an ancient processor, the P8600.

Honesly, if I am the CEO...I would do the same thing if not...with the saturated market....how to show the board of the positive sales graph trend? :embrass:

Something to save the lives of Windows 8 users. Oh, it is not freeware ($5). But never mind, the idea is there and soon there will be lots of freeware utilities written to resolve this issue.

MS comes in somewhat too late and does too little. Just trying to play catch up with ipad and Google.
