Will Cosina release the Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f/1.1 this summer?

Hmm.. Does the world need another cheap and fast 50mm?

The Voigtlander Nokton 35mm f/1.2 is certainly a great lens. Perhaps Cosina will add a fast 50mm to the stable in a few months?

From what I understand of the price of the new noct, CV's offering is more likely to be 10-15% of new noct! :bsmilie:

It's already been announced in the current (June 09) issue of Asashi Camera as part of Bessa 10th anniversary celebration offering.

Should be listed in Japan at JPY120000. I think I'll shelf my plans for the Noctilux for now. Prices should be under pressure from the new f/0.95 Noct and Cosina's new offering. Come to think of it, Canon's 50mm f/0.95 should be cooling off a bit too!
