Why there is double image when shooting moon ?

i used to have the same problem too....until i removed my filter
 

the moon shld be fullest on the 18th. :)
 

Live view? :D

Please do not use live view on the sun! You may save your eyes, but burn your sensor.

You may be able to get away with a quick wide-angle shot of landscapes with the sun at one corner, but not with a telephoto.
 

Just like to ask something else.
Is there a way to take a photo of the "SUN" ?

During sunrise / sunset.

And you can see I got flare as well. No filter, 100-400L.

Other than that you need heavy duty filters, and it'll be a boring shot unless you have a telescope. I've seen the sun using a telescope with a hydrogen alpha filter. It's stunning.
