Why Lens are expensive here in Singapore?

I have no experience of bangkok but i'm from Hong Kong, and if you know cantonese you can get lenses at very very good prices +1 for victorlee10, eg, I got a quote from john 3:16 for EF70-200 f2.8L IS II lens of 3200 SGD, in HK i got it (after bargaining) for 14,500 HKD for lens, and 1111 HKD for each TC, in singapore dollars that is 2591 for lens and 199 for TC.

yeah..tat is why pple can buy from Japan/US/HK/ (insert the rest of the world here) and resell here in BnS..and make $$4
