Why is my Alternate lens thread locked?

My earlier thread on alternative lens got locked before I can complete it. Since leaving a just started thread like that does not look proper, I might as well delete it but also can't do so.

What's the problem? With the alternative lens, mod or me?

That is what i was wondering too, when i read it. I tot it was you who locked it to prevent "vandalism" to your sticky-potential thread. So tat you can unlock it when you wanna update it.

Can it be unlocked? I did try to reserve space by replying to myself. I thot it is due to that that my thread has been closed. Funny thing is that I cannot delete the thread to start a new one. So not sure what happened here. :dunno:

If I have infringed on something, then should have let me know. Now I don't know if I should start a new thread on the same topic, just in case it gets lock again. This would be a waste of my time.

Don't know why it was locked exactly, but it was a funny thread in that it was just chope-ing space for content, without actually having any content there. Why not post again when you got something to put in it?

I do have content. Just that I don't have the time to type them in one shot. Things always start from small. It will gradually grow in size. Too bad it has been murdered during infancy.

Anyway, as mentioned in the locked thread, it is only for people who are interested. Those who are not can checked out other constructive threads if they are not going to start anything constructive.

I have actually started the 2 threads in different sections of the forum and both have been moved here. So mod should be well aware of the situation. I have wanted to PM mod but don't know who is the mod who closed my thread as he did not even "sign off" when he closed the thread. It is not as if I am doing anything funny.

Forget it. I'll try to post in FM. People there are generally more receptive and more interested to start a proper discussion.
