Just some sharing. I believe every artist has their own quote. If your work been recognize by many audience, you may raise your charges. If you are an average artist, just charge according to your market rate. If you are newbie and want to learn experience, it a must to let your client know you are new. His/her life event and money is up to them to invest in you.
We just maintain who we are and believe in our skills and creativity. Our skills is not judge by the money, but by the feedback of our audience. Projects are all over, it is depend on the capability of the paymaster. What I can said, this line may not make you wealthy, if you not the 'lucky one', but do not let money control and affect your passion.
