Why are they killing the pigeons?

Saw many dead pigeons lying on the carpark today. Not sure what is the reason for killing them. Last time I heard from somewhere they can spread disease through their droppings.

That pigeon that the man was holding was still alive when this was captured.

to prevent the spread of bird flu. rumored has that it was spreaded through the migratory birds.

today's newspaper said that the disease could also have spreaded through China's vaccination against millions of poultries that gone horribly wrong.

Now, no scientific data can prove those theories.

I think Singapore government trying every way to block this disease to enter Singapore. Good job!
