Why Are Old Leica Range Finders Still So Expensive?

I know what you mean. My contax G2 has 1/4000 manual and 1/6000 auto speeds, this is great for shallow depth of field @ f2 in bright sunny weather. And the auto focus makes it useful for moving objects.

the Leica M and the Contax G complements each other very well. Both rangefinders but different.

But I did see a black M6 classic @ 1680.00 two days ago at peninsula p&g, not sure if there's anything wrong with it, but exterior looks good. If everything is in order it's prolly the lowest priced M6 I've seen.

Hi, I just bought that Black M6 Classic from Andrew at Peninsula P&G there's nothing wrong with it , in good condition. I asked why at that price, he said he brought in low and sell at offer.

I just found out Peninsula Shopping Centre is poisonous...so many camera shop ...i saw a shop that sell many Leica but i went to P&G due to good review.

Coupled with 35mm Nokton f/1.4
