Yes the 50mm f1.8 version 1 have a full time manual focusing ring with distance info window and metal mount. It's heavier than the 1.8 version 2 but hard to find le. All the 50mm lens are old lens but still extremely popular.

I have the 50mm 1.8 II and i'm really happy with it as it's gd and cheap.

Just saw one over the weekend at a shop.. it's not cheap man. Around $320. I guess I rather top up to 1.4 haha

The 1.8 mark 1 is of cos more expensive at 2nd hand cos it has a metal mount, full-time manual focusing, distance window and is more solid.
