more stocks from TCW, its abt $2200 thereabouts. boys its light compared to the 2.8 brothers but it has a plasticly feeling that feels different from the 24-70.

Yes, fill in flash was used. Was testing different scenario with the new lens. Agreed that w/o flash when IS is on makes pictures look better.

This shot with fill in flash?.....would prefer a more natural exposure if on IS mode..

Just got it from AP, a very nice and sharp copy! Bought it at $2,100 with gst. I think they still have 2 pieces left............ Worth the buy, the weight is also very reasonable to lug around and the speed of the USM is impressive, compared to my 17-85mm IS. The IS works better than 17-85mm, quite noticeable as I did some test with it... Flare? no chance to take it in the open yet... will update if there is any....

got 17-40mm to cover the 24-40mm, tele would be covered by 70-200mm f/4L, and 50mm macro for standard lens

Just bought one. Notice the IS is more noticable than my 100-400L ie I can hear the IS turn on and off on the 24-105L. Did not notice it in the shop when there is more ambient noise.

Anyone else have the same experience with their 24-105L ?
