Who own the Olympus OMD 5

Still waiting for mine to come, which was told by Olympus the date is 11 may... Bcoz there isa delay for the silver body, but those with black body received theirs...

Got my MMF-3 last monday, used it with my Panasonic-Lecia 14-50mm f/2.8-3.5 lens on my OMD body. No a bad combo.

Tried getting one in HK. A lot of ads everywhere (subways and all) but absolutely no stock anywhere. They have prices posted though at broadway and fortress (about SGD 1,750 for the kit and about SGD 1,450 for the body only). The only place with stock was at the HK airport but the price was outrageously high (at about SGD 1,920).

Good thing I checked when I got home to Manila. Was able to get a black version here (body only) with a 1.5 year warranty (by Olympus Philippines) + free transcend 8gb sd card + benro Beyond S10 bag for the equivalent of SGD 1,320 last Wednesday (with the lens it's about SGD 1,620)

Still trying it out and it has a lot of potential. Like the build (weather proof and all) as well as and the built in viewfinder. I still have my GF1 but considering selling it because of this purchase ü

Think u go for the 12-50mm kit lens. At least u got a wide angle of 24mm (12mm x 2). Unless u going to get another wife angle lens which cost u extra.

I have a black E-M5 on loan from my camera dealer since yesterday until the silver one I ordered arrives. I am just starting to learn how to use it, but I have taken 700 photos already, some of them awful! :bsmilie:

They do sell the body only but are really rare to come by. Going for about $1400. A small flash is included.
