A condo to be built called Watermark. The godowns would be reincarnated by the waterfront. ;(

there a few block of building, in the process of tearing down near novana, toward KK hospital.

most likely, they have been operating in these parts since the 19th century. today their worldwide OHQ is in Singapore.

ever heard of dumex, mamil, plumrose, etc? :)

that's one of the brands owned by them. the company is based in Denmark, started in the lates 1880s.

if you are a collector of old stamps (straits settlements during the reigns of KEVII, GV, GVI) you may notice some of your stamps have little holes punched in them. if you see carefully they form alphabets, one of them is E.A.C. :)
