at that price they better have it included.

its the 5d a better buy or the mk2n?

its a question that only you can answer. which camera would be a better fit for you.

the FF is truely enticing and so does the 1 class in the 1dmk2...i normally take scenery shots coz i travel a lot...so not very sure which one is more suitable for me

do you need 8fps and do you take objects at extended range? can your computer take the filesize? do you need FF?

seriously i cant appreciate how fast 8fps is or wads the impact of having FF compared to 1.3X cropping...thats why i cant decide. As for the raw, i am normally using the powerbook to do all the editing.

if you have no need the 8.3 frames and having FF, then just use what you have now, no need to waste money right?

you said that FF is very enticing...but you dunno wads the impact of it compared to a 1.3x...you said that 1 class in the 1DMKII is also very enticing...so whats so enticing about the 1 class and FF if you don't even know what is their function??:dunno:

In this case the 5D is definitely the one to go for. FF means more of your scenery fits into your frame, and the small form-factor means you'll bring it around more often. Unless you like to take pictures within the eye of a hurricane, you might not need the weather-sealing of the 1 class.

If can't choose between 1D2 and 5D, the time for upgrade probably hasn't come yet. If FF is all you need, shoot film. The price difference between DSLR and SLR can buy loads of that.

5D is way more than just being FF. 1D2 way more than just 8fps.

The price is falling!
AP is now selling for under $5600 cash!

Aiyah! Will fall further lah! Wait after x'mas and you see! :bsmilie:

It will be closer to Japan's price sooner. :bsmilie:

How much in jap?:bsmilie:

$4700-$4800 the last I checked kakaku.com

But then again, 1D2n is going for around 6.2k.

I think I'll start saving for a trip to Japan next year.

1D mk2n is cater for professional sport photographer actually...
5D is cater for studio and landscape amaturer photographer who dream to have FF DSLR...
