Who is buying iPhone 6?

The day will come when we have Nikophone and Canophone. :bsmilie:

err...don't think that will ever happen unless they got bought over by some giant phone makers...but even if it does happen, then this forum can be turned into x vs y? or thrashing of brand x/y because of prejudice in this forum?

it happens to many others before, including android...it just goes to show that we should learn how to take care of the stuffs we buy with our hard earned money.

just like all in here who owned and love their cameras, would anyone throw them around, subject them to extreme conditions, like leaving them in the car under the sun...etc? the list goes on.

think those in here will probably buy a nice well padded bag to bring them around, have a dry box or cabinet at home to prevent fungus...etc.

same as people who buy expensive watches, some costing hundred of thousand, even millions, do they throw them around or go diving, if the watch are not meant for it?

used them as their are meant to be used, not abuse them beyond what they are not built for...even g-shock will fail if subject to extreme abuse...
Huh...??? So now placing a Personal Electronic Device (PED) in a pocket is considered "extreme abuse" or "extreme conditions"...??? :bsmilie:

I don't know, maybe it applies for Sion whereby the inside of his trousers can get up to a hundred °C and a thousand PSI due to rapid expansion. :bsmilie:

Yes after a walk under Singapore hot sun whatever inside your trousers will overheat and expand very fast. :bsmilie:

There are always fanbois of each camp trying to stir up the mood a bit. It wouldn't be the first time that we have some cooling measures at hand :)

Apple will once again like to remind their loyal customers that these cases of "isolated incidents" are ostrictly but a user problem. Please either learn to sit properly or not place the precious device in your pocket.

In upcoming days, Apple will release limited edition lanyards thus users can have the choice of wearing the iPhone 6 / iPhone 6 Plus around one's neck and swing it round and round the way it should meant to be.

The repair kit is out..... :bsmilie:

Just a reminder to everyone.... lets not turn this thread into another iPhone vs Android phone (aka, Nikon vs Canon vs other brand) thread....

To each their own choice in gears.... :bsmilie:

reminder not much power...or maybe have some ppl not very literate...or is this A vs iPhone 6 thread? oops...its 'Who is buying iPhone 6?' thread...

wonder how many would buy an iphone or any other phone for that matter and do this to it???!!!

yeah.. esp when it is just newly launched and a new phone could fetch as much as S$2.5~$2.8k due to limited stocks.

according to the flippers.

It's Kopitiam lah.. It's the usual case that threads here go off topic or elsewhere.

Don't put it in your front trouser pocket because that is where your expansion most likely to take place. :bsmilie:

That one comment alone made my laugh lol

Is it just the 6+ or the 6 can bend too? :bsmilie:

Comparisons have been made , 6+ is the most flexible followed a Buncha of Samsungs , LGs , Motorolas etc

Think the Nokia 3310 should still reign as the 'Unbendable'

Thanks for the info, seem the optical image stabilization in iP6+ make thing worse, so I suppose iP6 is better haha...

Better if you set your vibrator to "low", but worse if you set your vibrator to "high". So depends on your vibrator settings.

Ok, because I'm waiting for recontract, but only have interest in the 6. Glad to know that it's less bendable. :) Thanks!

well, Apple says only 9 cases reported out of 10mil+ phones sold so far. some people will probably accuse Apple of down playing the numbers...

if anyone's IP6/6+ bends because of a manufacturing fault, it can be exchange...

so, decide for yourself...there will always be naysayers and fault finders around because they are either jealous of how well IP6/6+ is doing, or feeling insecure of their own phone, or just plain no life. but most probably manipulated by rival makers to do their dirty work for free while they still pocket millions...

only 9 cases? .. well its just got launched so probably better to just wait and see (as there may be other “waves”) to be safe (e.g. perhaps wait for the 6+1yrLater+s or 6++s ... watever)?

Could be .. perhaps it has attracted more attentions or comments since it was once an industry leader? .. or some consumers simply have higher expectations in terms quality due to its pricing or its proud standings behind its brand (i.e. a big mismatch)? :bsmilie:
