Cathay only sellig at SGD 50. Some people even got it at SGD30.

I got mine from a member of Free Trade Zone Malaysia.
Yup, he doing the modification to work with 5D then sell off to earn some $$$.
The 1 I bought was the last set that he got.
I can ask him see if he still got any available.
Will update you guys from time to time.

Hi All,

An updates:

Unfortunately, Perly is not able to secure any outcome from the korea company. The compnay is more into big order and they handmade the product and there will be long waiting list on that. There is no specific item for the 5D and cost of manufacturing will be much higher as cost may pass to us on the limited quantity. It is basically a BTO business model. Let's drop this for now unless there is new updates. Let's consider this close.

Those who explore the mod with BP200 base grip from Canon, go ahead.

a taiwan company Ownuser has produced a universal vertical grip that can work with cameras such as the d5d, d7d, nikon d50, pentax *ist DL and other cameras. it allows use of AA batteries or CR3 batteries, and has not one, but two shutter release buttons. it is not known if it will work with newer cameras like the sony alpha.
