sorry, i haf to say this... i totally hate soccer... i juz find it stupid, boring, un-ethical, silly, insignificant, useless to the society, no contributions to the society's well being. and worse. Betting bring harms and ills to the fragile society of Singapore. not onli it harms the bet(ter) it also harms socially in within Singapore. therefore... as i always say to my friends. I urge all Club Snappers to quit betting (gambling).... :bsmilie:
given the choice between a sporting event and a movie, which would you rather watch? taking into consideration that sports is primarily meant to be played whilst movies are meant to be watched. my choice was clear :bsmilie:
I'm one for the past 20 years (the other 5 years is for watching Solid Gold Countdown charts), has never batted an eyelid on anything about Soccer. heh heh heh :devil:

Try being in a footballing nation when they win a major game or trophy. The place goes crazy!! The sport brings happiness (and despair) to MILLIONS of people. How can that be insignificant??

Ok, therefore horse-racing, casinos, card games and most major sports, the stock-market etc...all are silly and stupid in your book.
Don't mean to ridicule you but I think your stand on football is rather lacking in substance. If YOU don't like it fair enough, but that doesn't mean that it is the things you claim it to be. I don't normally rant but you wound me up on this one!
