Hihi. Am looking for a GPS position device like GEO tagging.
Who can intro 1 to me? And any advise u all can provide? many thanks

It can only be tagged post processing. Dun think can tag raw, dunno. I cannot find it locally. Probably source it online.

Must be guessing that you saw the GPS slot on your camera body then got interested lah. haha

For Nikon camera, I would only recommend Dawntech GPS from Hong Kong.

The GPS coordinates are geotag into the RAW and JPEG files.

no la , because i bought 1 Gps at sgcamerastore and know that in the market it only cater for nikon camera only

Got my Columbus nGPS from China... damn difficult to get a satellite lock-on. Disappointed. FYI...

Since yours is D60, no direct geotagging device for it right now. Only way is merge afterwards. But this one I recommend you can act as a data logger, and once you upgrade your camera later, it can geotag directly. http://www.pixiq.com/article/geotag-your-nikon-photos-with-affordable-gps

Hi TS, First you must ask yourself why you want to geotag your photos.Let's say you take travel pictures alot and you want to know the exact location or go to less travelled or wild and isolated places then geotagging is useful if you want to go there again.

There is the downside where your privacy or security and that of your friends can be compromised if pictures are taken in homes.Do you want to tell the whole world where you are? Think about it ,that means switching off the geotagging but what if you forget? Of course you can edit the file header if you have a text editor.

Edit: You may have heard how police caught iphone "kidnappers" tracking the phones gps signal.

Geo tagging units are not exactly small. You need to install and it and set it up before shooting. I doubt someone would forget to "turn it off" when shooting at home.
