photo quality wise.. shouldn't have any difference. Friend from Thai has done a test for 7D and 5D.. almost identical.

Finally after my last purchase of Minolta Dynax 9xi aboout 10yrs ago, this new Dynax 5D has again rekindled my itch for an upgrade. Bought it at Comex 2 days ago and has no regrets men. The color and sharpness is impressive! And couple with the innovative AS built in the body, practically all my old AF lenses are "IS" equivalent! Furthermore I can also use my very old MC Rokkor lenses on this body, which my 9xi couldn't.
Bought at $1698 with everything (*2nd CF card is Ultra II) plus 4yrs warranty, good deal.:thumbsup:

It was many yrs ago, bought from The Camera Workshop. The adaptor ring label is MD/7000, meant for the 1st generation Minolta AF camera, 7000 & 9000 series. You can try to check with TCW. Good luck.
