Nice to meet u at AP,
Also glad that I've upgraded the CF Card to the Ultra II; I was still wondering if I had make the right decision to spent the extra $$$, until I tested it at home with my Kingston 1GB Flash and the Ultra II..

Shooting in RAW until it's full, my Kingston takes about 20-25 secs before buffer is cleared...The Ultra II was so much faster!!
Wise choice!!

How often are u going to fill the buffer? Unless your interest is in sports photography, hardly...

go for Kingston, Lexar or Sandisk.
if you're refering to the CF card given, its Kingston. standard.

I do quite some continuous photo shooting, especially those fashion walk or fast action shoot, & hopefully venture into raw in the future.
That why I top up some money to change the normal speed Kingston CF card to Sandisk Ultra II.

Just of information, I come across this website with writing speed of 7D on CF card, so I assume it should be quite similar to 5D.

Yah lor....even shooting at Fine mode, the continuous shooting slows to a crawl after a while using the standard CF...

Top up a little cash and had more free-space to to deal with actiion shots when necessary..

Now is to get some spare battery as u recommended /..haha:sweatsm:
