Uwatec is bigger, bulkier, slightly less functions, like time stamping. BUT! What I LIKE about it, less conservative.

Why ppl like sunnot is because it's small, fashioned like a watch, more 'pro' looking, but also more expensive.

IMHO, suunto is too conservative and always has huge penalties.
Asking you to do sometimes a 20min+ safety stop should you not dive according to the com's profile and setting.

That does not mean uwatec is less safe, it's just not as conservative and does not penalises you as much as sunnto.
So it's realy up to you. If you are those like to 'chiong' dives or like to stay down longer then usual, then sunnto is not the answer.

i think 3mm and fitting wetsuit should be quite enough for tropical waters. titanium seems to be too expensive and not worth it. you might want to buy another piece of rashguard (dunno spelling right or not) and wear it underneath your wetsuit for night dives or early morning dives, which can be colder than night dives. or just get a thicker wetsuit la.
