Hi guys,
Manage to get 3 donation tins from Redcross through PAYM. I am thinking of forming an external committee so I won't have to handle everything alone. Would anyone like to step up and volunteer yourself?

I am planning the fund raising to be on 15th and 16th Jan. Let me know how you want to contribute. My hp is 98471589.

PS: so far I havent heard anything from CS admin, Darren, though he did sounds pretty interested when I brought it up to him.

Just an update.

I had contacted red cross and they are extremely interested with the project. I had send them a proposal to proceed now waiting for their final reply.

Upon approval from them, I will need manpower on the actual day to help sell the pictures, some to help me on the coordinations and also sponsors from printing shops to do the print out for us free(which darren had gladly volunteered to help me sort).
We target to sell 25000 pcs of pictures hopefully able to raise about SG$250k for Red Cross within one week.

Meanwhile get your pictures ready. Expected resolution will be 1800 by 1400.

We will be running the fund raising event inconjuction with this group of CS'ers. Still looking for print sponsors or we might need to cough out about two thousands dollars for the prints. If you know anyone interested and willing to sponsor, please help us approach and let us know. We can arrange on the sponsorship acknowledgements.

Remember we are not doing this for ourself or even the Singapore Red Cross, we are doing it for the victims of the Tsunami of the various dive sites we had all love, or atleast, once love.

hi all, another newbie diver here =)

i'm also into photography, but too bad my kodak camera doesnt seem to be able to find its wetsuit.

i just got my diving license last nov in phuket....its sad to see that phuket is hit by the tsunami. but i am v glad that many places incl airlines are helping to bring the tourists back to phuket.

my diving instructor is still alive thankfully, and he was telling me he volunteered in digging the bodies up from the sea...and he lost many friends...including fellow diving operators...

i saw phi phi on tv, it's still so beautiful even devastated....what a pity that i gave it a miss when i took my open water diver course in racha yai.

i'm interested in hantu, tioman, redang, and perhentian etc....but well i think alot of outings are organized on sundays which for the month of feb and march i'll be busy.
