Placing this ad on behalf of a friend.
Started when i needed some paintwork touchup for my Canon 70-200L, 300L, 400L... the damage to paintwork is the usual from usage and knocks and some slight scuff marks as well.
I asked this friend of mine who is into miniture model painting and airbrush spraying, he managed to find some paint (the same type used to retouch cars and models). Apparantly some Jap WW2 warship actually uses the same paint as Canon L lens. I had my lens done by him and it was good overall, the very slight difference in shade can only be seen very close up, possibly due to the difference in age of the coating applied.
In short, if anyone here needs this services, my friend is willing to do it for a token sum..
