I never know that in urban spore could one capture such awe inspiring shots of a beautiful bird in action. I am speechless to say the least...

How far are you away from most of the flyby shots? They all look so close!
I know now that 1DMkII is my next target.

The distance is usually around 100m or less. (anything more will be too small, even after cropping ...... )
The large size of the eagle helps. ;p

Lens is 300f4 with 1.4 tc. Bright sunny days are the best, but watch the highlights.

yeah, MK II is the way to go. 20D AF can't keep up with the high G turns when the eagle dives.
