Which walk around lens do you own?

I enjoy taking landscape and macro

Using CZ1680 and beercan on my A33. Jus nice to cover from 16mm to 210mm.

I currently have the CZ16-80 for my a33. I thinking if I should change it to the cz24-70.

Other than the size, heavy weight, much higher price, and a trade off between 16mm to 24mm, are there other disadvantages?

And other than the f2.8 and ssm, what are the other advantages?

I really like the sharpness and contrast of the 16-80.
Would the 24-70 be better?

I always carry handy kit lens 18-70mm good is enough. If go longer, the sigma 70-300mm 4-5.6 with Marco capability is always been my extension.

I am using a55 and have a 18-55 Kit lens, then was given a free old lens from a friend [ Sigma 28-200mm Aspherical IF] lens.
When mounted onto A55 with body set to AF, the cam body makes cracking sound BUT once I switch to MF and use this lens manually,it work fine.

I called Sigma yesterday for service charge but was told it a very old lens and might not able to service it. As such, looking for a reasonable sharp lens at
budget, read all in this thread and noticed many of you recommend the following:
1. Sony 16-105
2. CZ 16-80 ( abit short for me I think)
3. CZ 16-106 ( looks nice range But what is the price like compare to Sony 16-105 that may not be sharper than CZ lens.

Please enlighten me with million thanks.
I mostly use a55 for travelling (Landscape and street candid shot) and some local town walkabout use.

There isnt any cz16-105 lens btw.

If u need absolute sharpness and contrast, go for cz1680. If u want convenience and range, go for sal18250.
