Which tri-pod for OMD cameras?

I am using the T-1205X tripod and K-10X ball head from my DSLR days. That combo could easily support my 60D + 70-200 f/4L, so it is more than enough for my m4/3 setup. I thought of selling it and downgrading to T-025, but decided not to because the latter is not that much cheaper. The T-1205X and K10X are not heavy at all and provide many amenities that the tiny T-025 couldn't, such as reverse mounting, spirit levels, etc.

use my R-1204 + K-10X from my 7D, sure is stable for OMD.

thinking of selling my Sirui t-2204x and get a smaller one since i no longer have DSLR

tonite i post my travel tripod here :)

i may buy the T-025 to replace my long time tripod - damn bulky but pro.

my travel tripod... able for me to mount up within 15sec and keep within 15sec :)

The guy mentioned don't really need the TY-50 unless using a bigger ballhead?

Thanks for post, is that the ZipShot TR406? How is the "sturdiness" of this tripod with the 12-35 attached to OMD?

Saw the video and was pretty interested. Looks like a great no-frills traveling companion.

ZipShot

Did you buy it locally or on ebay?

Yup thats the one. Sturdiness i rate 8/10, only concern is need to be careful and even out the legs. Also cannot adjust height. Overall i like it due to quickness in setting up and keeping it. Got it online. Nv see it in Singapore.

I differ in opinion... you sacrifice just too much for that size IMHO -
I will stay away from this - minimun the Tx1205 or better (sturdier..)

i thot t-025 have $215?

Appears it's for display set as according to the sales guy from OP..

Liddat I willing to buy display set... hahaha

Haha... I'm willing to but when I told him that.. He said "huh, you want a display set ah" and he went "erm...." then I said ok nvm.. So I called TK next.

I just needed a simple basic one.. the size n weight really appeals.. I didn't want too much of a bulk..

The legs looks really wobbly, very concern if some just lightly trip on it, the camera would fly, and the ballhead looks rather weak too. Imho too:think:

The use of TY-50 is not coz of the ballhead, it due to the bundled release plate doesn't have a hand tighten bolt. So it gets loosen easily after using a while. Though if your experience is happy with it, then it's good for you.
