One problem when using rechargeable batteries in flashgun - they died without warning. Must lookout for the flash ready light all the time. Alkaline batteries start good & gradually took longer time to recharge. At least you have a warning to change batteries.
I prefer to use Panasonic Evolta batteries - stronger than normal alkaline & cheaper than lithium. Battery packs are better alternatives.

Anybody knows where to get a "AA" size Lithium Ion rechargeable battery?????....

Sanyo Enelooop,Powerex Imedion and/or GP Recyko. Can get from almost every camera store.Supermarkets also have some...

Owned Eneloop, GP and Energizer rechargables. Energizer was the worst. Three weeks after being fully charged and laid around doing nothing, it discharged all the power leaving it completely flat. It's not even attached to any device. Eneloop is the best and GP is not bad too.

Guys pls help ! I'm using GP ReCyko+ (Model name GPAR05GS) to charge GP 2700, Imedion 2400mAh & Sanyo 2100..how? I asked Eastgear ppl at SITEX they are VERY sure tht this charger WONT give me problem to my battery life tht's why i didn't commit to Maha's charger with 4 AA batteries selling at $55 (SITEX price). Will this charger kill my Sanyo & my brand new Imedion?

Forgot to add. I bought GP bcoz it can :

Charge 1 to 4pcs of NiMH AA or AAA
2 hrs to charge up 2pcs of NiMH batteries
4 LED icons to indicate battery charging status
Individual battery charging
Auto cut-off safety control
Primary and bad battery detection
Battery ejector system
AC100-240V worldwide use

challenger is selling 6pc of recyclo AAA battery for S$20 now(compared to S$16 in sitex) u can opt with that(i've used eneloop and recyclo tell u the truth it doesn't feel any different)

Eneloop fast charger price quite X and very seldom promo. Waiting for GP fast charger lobang.

Where did you purchase the items? Is the charger quick or normal charge?

Eneloop is NiMH, not Lithium. I am not sure about the others you mentioned.

I use Energuzer rechargeables, and i got only these few things to say.

These jokers cannot hold a darn charge at all when not in use. 2 weeks in the dry cupboard = GG, shoot about 50 shots and its time for a recharge.

Ironically, if you install them on high-drain devices like audio players/CD player/cameras and make very heavy use of the aforementioned devices on a daily basis, they seem to retain their charge decently. Oh well, that's Energizer for you.

Normal ni-mh batteries do not hold their charge well when not in use. But they come with higher capacities like 2700mah. If you want the type that hold charge well, you need to get LSD ni-mh, Which means low self dischargeni-mh batteries. They hold charge very well but with lower max capacities at around 2000 to 2100 mah. Popular brands for these type of batteries include sanyo eneloop, gp recycle. I know energizer also have LSD nimh, but I am not sure of what they name it as.

Is the LSD version from GP recryko?

Any shop recommendations to offer when it comes to buying these batteries?

1 question though.. any difference between the limited edition eneloops and the normal ones? Other than the colourful casing for the limited edition and white colour for the normal batt. Thanks in advance
