Which prime lens do you own?

I tried a 85mm f/1.8 prime before, and it was AWESOME. Had to move around a bit more, but the Boken is incredible, spot on sharpness and very awesome pictures. The body is well made, and feels right. I'm more of a prime person, so I think I might be getting a copy soon! It's rather expensive though, costing more then my second hand D70 by $100.

Ooooooo....wait till you get to the 85mm f/1.4 or the 85mm PC f/2.8 :devil:

A lens with a fixed focal length. Some also refer to those lenses with fixed aperture values as prime lenses.

Build quality, the extra bit of aperture... and better image quality...

its quite a bit sharper than the 50 f1.8 even wide open. i got the AIS version and hell, it can get some really sharp shots!
