Hi everyone, my fren`s bday is coming and i intend to buy a polaroid camera for her but i noe nuts about polaroids, so any recommandations? Or issit all the same?

Hmm I've got the Polaroid one and the focus function is quite bad in my opinion. It states that you can take from 0.6m but it is only clear from 1m at least. I'll suggest that you take fuji instax as the focus functions are better and the pictures (more rectangular as compared to polaroid's square films) are more flattering. Buy the ones which allows you to take in either portrait or landscape format. It'll be more fun to play with.

Check out the price for the film first. My 3 cent

Yea i heard the film can be quite ex

I highly recommend Fuji Instax mini cams instead (If u just wanna get an instax cam). Coz, it's difficult to and expensive to get polaroid film now.

Instax mini is still ex, but more affordable lor. Cams cost $115 to $170 and film is $12 to $14.90 (retails at).

Hope this helps :)

Yea i was looking at some of the Fuji Instax cams, tink i will get that for my fren thanks for your help! :)

Those retro polaroid cams usually use the 600 film, which costs about 30 to 45 sgd a pack, 10 shots a pack. very expensive to upkeep for the time being.

But shooting polaroids... awesome! hehee

Hi i got another qns!
Correct me if i am wrong but is there a model in the Fuji Instax series where you can preview the shot on a LCD screen b4 printing?

i had a couple of instax but sold them off. they're boring and tacky looking. since 600films are hard to find and pretty expensive get a polaroid camera that uses peel-apart films (can even use fuji films like fp100c) like a propack, the reporter or ee100. the pictures also come out clearer than say 600films.
