Er, too much like that cartoon on TV leh?..Can't remember name... Purposely?

really?! er..not sur leh..but we realy design them based on wat we think ..cos we hardly watch cartoons on tv or wat actually..

i would have found it more humorous if all the names were more comical..it just stopped at 'blurman'..the rest are pretty... :dunno:

but if you ask me..i like speedy girl..coz her mask/glasses reminds me of Lisa Leob... ;p

But blurman is surely 'Batman'... and 'speedy girl' is that character in 'Scooby Doo'?

'Smarty boy' reminds me of xmen 'gambit', maybe because of that high-turtle neck thingy that covers side of head.

'Hitman' looks asian. Asian with yellow=bruce lee.

Hope u don't mind my comments man...just Ist impression..:)Hope it helps.

Peter & Johnny is the cartoon I mentioned but I not sure name..

what is your target market?

Hate to say it.. but hor.. the names almost make me cringe..

All are nice...Do they each have their own special ability? :)

Think the names could be improved....
Blurman seems to be a reference to the singlish term "blur" and so I thought its a very singaporean comic....
BUT the rest of the names are anything but singlish... *cringe*

Also the non-singlish names are not very exciting.... Hitman, Speedy Girl, etc... Compare Speedy Gonzales, Wolverine, Gambit (as mentioned before), Sandman, etc etc....

Still... it can be redeeming if there was a short comic strip here to entice us to this new comic. Introducing new super heros with just a poster isn't really that effective. You need a pilot story to kick start reader's interest...;)

Still, good effort. Maybe post a short pilot episode to see if it works.:)

lol, on second look, i am suddenly reminded of these:

Doc. Black - My boss =p

Peter Sharp - Ah beng wannabe boy who plays irritating techno ringtones on the bus.

Jhonny Strong - Your Malay neighbour who is SOO into bodybuilding.

well. its a local comics. guess we will try to share wif local ppl first. cos sometimes foreign ppl may not be able to accept our kind of humor. and the kind of humor which favor them, may not be favorable to here too.

age group?
education level?

every sector thinks different and have differents likes and dislikes.
so i would suggest that you decide on your target market and tune your comic to their taste.

err.actually our style, concept already in this manner. whoever, whatever age grp.educational level, as long anyone can accept it. hard to determine a specify target market bah. :D

r u a marketing experT?

no not an expert, but just common sense

there are no 2 groups that are the same
each age group thinks differently
even in the same age group, ppl of different educational bg also think differently.

so i feel that it is best not to try to appeal to the general public
your product will not be a hit, because there are corners cut for different markets
instead choose your market segment, fine tune it for them and go for the kill

Good luck

thx thx bro!! will take note:)
