For me, sama sama..... because if take 80-200 & 12-24..... too many lens, and they are very the ex..... 18-200 cover all and maybe take the 50mm along.... light and cheap... ;p

Nikon is not Canon and we probably won't see D3 so soon. Nikon is not known to churn out models if there is only a slight improvement. The most is they tag it with an 's', eg, F4-F4s, D70-D70s, D2H-D2Hs... That's my guess but I may be wrong.
