Which MS Color to visit?

Having heard a lot about MS Color's good service but also the disparate services between their different branches, which one should I visit if I want to have a pleasant visit?

I guess what I am asking is which store Florence will be in, right?

Have never been to MS Color and want to pay them a visit later this week to check on a couple of lenses. Have sent them an eQuote request already. Just want to do my homework properly before paying them a visit.

Florence is in the old shop near S11. I still prefer going back to the old shop because the 'old' bunch of staffs are there. There are few young fellas at the new shop but I usually deal with Willy only. The rest a bit blur sometimes. Hehe.

Thanks. That is what I want to find out. I want to give my visit the best chance of success too. Of course, their pricing has to be competitive enough in order for me to pay them a visit. ;p

That's simple. Visit the one opposite the bah kwa store. Good service and competitive pricing with Florence around although sometimes I suspect that the lens may smell of bah kwa.

I went to both, the store manager for the new store seem quite friendly. Of course, your safest bet is the old store.

i will go to the one at AMK hub cos the price is cheaper,the one at s-11 quoted me tamron SP 90mm @$580-$20 rebate from tamron which will send over cheque to u.AMK hub new staff may be blur but quoted the lens $540 cash,so where will u wan to go.

Not necessary cheaper. I purchased few other stuffs that were cheaper in the old shop. Bottomline ... as long as you know the price and do some bargaining ... you'll be able to get better price from either side.

For blk 711, look for Florence. Very nice lady and very friendly.

For AMK Hub, look for this nice young gentleman. I dunno his name, (could be Willy, that someone previously mentioned). Tall, medium lenght hair, speaks well. Very patient and helpful.

Wei Loong is the young man's name at AMK hub. And yes the prices are cheaper there - not much difference but slightly cheaper.

So should I visit the main store or the AMK hub? As I am getting eQuote from them, I would expect they will be providing a very competitive already. So, should I visit the main store where Florence is?

since the 2 shops are like 10 mins walk apart, why don't you just visit both?

Dun think there is any difference in the services provided by the 2 shops. So far has been quite pleasant for me.
But usually the S11 older shop should be more crowded and more popular for the regulars.
If u intend to stay there for a couple of hours to test lenses, AMK hub will be a more comfortable place with air-con, less people & more quiet(as compared to the S11 kopitiam noise).

I heard stories of inconsistent pricing between the two branches with the main branch providing a more favorable price from the lady boss. What is your experience regarding the pricing?

I intend to do that and see if there is any pricing difference between the two. Hope they won't get upset if I told them the other branch quote me a much lower price...

What do you intent to buy? Y don you check what is the best price before going so that when they quote you, u'll know if the price is gd.
