Zeiss Ikon!
In my opinion, I find those Leica M bodies before the M5 very "big and bright" and it is really a plus for focusing.
I second this. The ZI has the biggest & brightest RF/VF so far (out of Leica and Voight.). The Bessa T has a wonderful RF but a seperate VF.Zeiss Ikon!
btw, who know which shop is selling Zeiss Ikon in SG?
which M-mount film body has the best finder for focusing? would like to hear your view!![]()
Faith? Certainly not experience. Next time you're in the shop take a look through the VF of a ZI. You might be surprised. No goggles requiredLeica M3

I vote for the Leica M2. Big bright finder, uncluttered viewfinders and easy to focus at any angle. My Bessa R2a finder flared out once I got to an awkward angle. Both are very good though.

Brought back a ZI recently from Nippon.
Yes, the VF is bright. Infact, super bright.
