Your 18-55 is a good lens for landscape.

Agreed that your lens is good enough if you shooting landscape.
Unless you want wider lens.

Maybe you want to consider UWA lens for landscape. (e.g 10-22 lens)

Thank You buddies!

Can you explain what is wider lens is for?

Hmm if you need to ask this, I suggest you read up and learn more before deciding to buy a new lens, in case you get yourself a white elephant.

U wan to take subject isolation or landscape? 55-250 for a little more zoom, 18-200 for the convenience. 18-55 is a great lens for landscape. And a tripod helps too!!

Okie.. I am reading lens book of canon.

Thanks all of you.. yeah.. my 18-55 is really good for me..

Well you can just google for the models you are interested. Websites like Dpreview, etc they do detailed tests on the lens. So they will tell you what's good and not good about the lenses. Unlike Canon's book(s), they will not critisise their own products right? So the book may give you a false impression through its marketing tactics.

this will depend on your style and composition that whether you need a telephoto zoom for landscape. With a longer zoom, you can do "compression" of the image to bring about a certain effect you preferred in the photo.

This link will explain better.

getting either the 18-200 and 55-250 looks fine to me. For me, I probably choose the 18-200 becos that is simply being a lazy bum.

check this out for "landscape" lens.
