Which lens will you buy next..:

LOCA will happen on apertures as wide as f1.4 even the nikkors.

Sig is 1400, afd is 1600, afs is mid 2k. Local pricing. Hk pricing is much lower. Less than 1.1k for sig, over 1.2 for afd.

anyone has any idea how much is the Tokina 11-16 in Japan?

I've seen a lot of good review about this lens, seen at thread as well here, it's quite impressive =)

post BBB listings :bsmilie:

0) 85/1.8D -- a poor man's portraiture lens with rich results!! ;)

nice lens :)
It's like 1/2 to 1/3 the price of the 85/1.4G, but definitely not 1/2 to 1/3 the performance/quality.
solidly-built and sharp, with nice bokeh.
A good alternative for the budget-conscious ;)

front cap can buy from ebay for a few bucks only... :)
HN-23 may also be possible to find online.

Old fart : Save up for a fast lens. No regrets.

I am considering getting the 85mm f1.8d too but fear that it may be under-utilised, I mostly shoot with mine 24mm, 35mm n 50mm trio.

Very hard to say. It really depends on what you shoot and also your shooting style.

35 F1.8 AF-S (Indoors Sometimes can't use my SB-600

both sound like good choices. It really depends on what is your priority, unless you have deep enough pockets to grab both ;)

If pockets deep then should go for 70-200vr2 already. ;)

If pocket is deep enough, go for the ultimate prime 200mm f2.

well not deep for me

Changing cameras too so maybe D7000 or D300s Successor with 50

no priority or 70-200 for now only during Event shooting

You may try the Nikon dealer shops at JB, Malaysia. I got mine from there too. The Nikon international warranty with oversea shop receipt is still valid in Singapore.

Bro,

Do you have the JB shop contact number?
Dammz.. lazy to go Malaysia.

SG still no stock. :(

Please see below. Just about 20mins drive distance from Woodlands. I also notice that mostly all local shops don't have stock at the moment.
