For me, no particular lenses has a PR status, it depend on what I am shooting. Guess it's more like "Employment Pass" to complete a specific task rather than PR ....
17-35 F2.8 - for landscape and street photography and gods know what
28-70 F2.8 - for portraiture and human shooting
35-70 F2.8 - same as above except that when i have sore shoulder or tired hands.
70-200 F2.8 VR - for sport photography or if I go bird park or zoo or any situation where i need it.
60 Micro - for marco photography
On second thought, yeah the 17-35 do earn a PR status most of the time
