Yes it is a nikon lens. It is out of production and is replace by the 17-35 f2.8

For me now, its the 100mm macro, for it can do portraits and closed up...

At the moment, 28-105, handy range, fantastic sharpness, great for portraits, landscape and macro mode too!

Just got hold of the 18-200mm VR...:thumbsup: previously it was 28-105...coz it can go wide, mid-zoom and telephoto...and currently loving this lens... but still carry the 50mm 1.4 for low light shooting and better bokeh...

18-200VR - even more hassle free! Although I put on a faster lens when indoors
