I already own the current version and love the sharpness and bokeh it produces. If the new lens is better in both respects, it will be phenomenal. I hope that the price is reasonable.

You're right, it's actually the EF 70-200 but I'm sure that the new 100-400 will look quite similar.

I'm sure that it will be phenomenal lens with a corresponding price tag. The recent crop of Canon lenses have been excellent.
