Killer if you know how to use. I think at least 60-70% of users today do not know how to use Zeiss lens. I am one of them.
But everytime I see their output, I drool :bsmilie:
but the bokeh is like a heaven

Correct lah, it's just an illustration.
In real life, the price is like in hell. So freaky ex for an 50mm f1.4
Snoweagle said:50 f/1.4 still considered ex?? To me already reasonably affordable and only cost $500+.

My bad, should be the CZ 50 f/1.4 and it costs approx $1.3K.
Apologies holywing, misintepreted for Canon's 50 f/1.4.
I've personally tried the CZ and it's really outstanding. U pay for what u get as its optics are tops.

Last time during that time i tried the CZ, i was contemplating to sell off my 50 f/1.2 for it, but in the end still stuck with my f/1.2.
That why I get 35L n 50 f1.4
The main reason wasn't the price, but having AF for quick shots is still a plus over an 'only-manual' lens.
once u get into manual focus lens. u won't go back into AF lens.

I just rented the 35L.
