That "one" lens you must have for FX

My vote goes for 24-120 f4 and 16-35 f4. I think it is nice to own 14-24 f2.8 and 24-70 f2.8, depends on your application, but for me it is too big and heavy for my purpose. My gears are mainly use for holiday and I really like to have something good but compact, so the 2 f4 combo is the best compromise for me.

I wonder how the new 24-120 & 28-300mm fits into this poll
I'm guessing not that many own the lens or have tested it to give their opinion yet.
When I go full frame i'll need to buy a new lens, so i'm keen to know how these 2 new lens compare to 24-70mm F2.8!

So far, my trusty AFD 20-35mm has been a regular on my camera...

I would say the new Nikon 35mm f1.4G....combined with full frame, it is a beast

I will still choose 24-70 anytime anyday, 1st for the large aperture (i dun need VR) and 2nd for its build tat make it such a joy to use.. . parted with my copy 3 months bk, served me very well for 16 months and i mus said i took many great pics with it

This is the lens for me now - AF-S NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR
.... not the fastest and doesn't fair well in the dark but works like a champ for versatility (without compromising sharpness).... so to respond to this survey, if ONLY one lens, this is it.

For me, i cant decide between the 16-35 and the 24-70. :)

hmmm no love for the 17-35?

im surprised more people using 16-35 as opposed to 17-35?
