y small thread?

anyway, i prefer it to be big thread like 17-35 kind... better for manual focus... and must have f1.0 hehehehe... bokeh so thin... need microscope...

Then your filters get very expensive... 77mm is ok...

hmm, saw this in B&H used Tokina 300mm f/2.8 cost US$1599.00, anyone interested? ;p
112mm filter

Woah it's gonna flare like crazy.... especially in more northerly or southerly latitudes where the sun rays come in more at an angle than at the equator....

is it? I thought its disadvantage would be slower than ssm, didn't know flare would be a problem.
photozone.de rate it little flare though.

zcf,
thanks for the link.. met up with reno77 and got the lens from him. ;)
You got it at your price?
Hope you like it, now can start shooting more wide angle. ;)

SIGMA 18-125 f/3.5-5.6. All rounder, good for travelling with minimal camera weight. ;)

S$10 more.. :)
Yeah.. more shooting with wide angle now.. Chinatown may be a good start..

The lens is nothing to shout about, but is really good enough for non critical work and there is a need to travel light. It's not a fast lens, hence indoor/low light shooting can be a challenge. With KM the AS and high ISO really helps.

Another review point of view, http://www.ephotozine.co.uk/equipment/tests/testdetail.cfm?test_id=377
