I find having a 'large & bright viewfinder' important.
Then 'Good Ergonomics, Handling & Control' is important too.
Then i like a 'Large and bright LCD' too. Finally 'High Frame-Per-Second (FPS)' is also good, but of course on this i dun have much of a choice, if i only can afford an entry level dSLR, i cannot list this as a priority looking at 1 tat can do 8.5 fps...

- No silvery surfaces. See point above.
- It must have a LOUD mirror slap/shutter sound and/or sound like a GPMG at full blast
- It must be able to dent any surface it hits on :bsmilie:
In addition to those I voted, responsive and accurate AF, low shutter lag, long battery life, low mirror vibration and F-mount.koerner said:good handling and bright view finder
